Okay, this is going to be a weird post, but bear with me. There are ways to make money on eBay that don’t just rely on garden furniture, clothes in good condition, or unopened video games. There are people out there that will buy what you and I think is rubbish; let me tell you about weird eBay auctions that could make you money.
And I mean used. Dirty, smelly, broken – you name it, someone will want them. If you don’t mind what happens to the shoes after you’ve sold them (after all, the buyer probably has a serious fetish) then get listing. Some people have sold beaten up shoes for hundreds of pounds, so why not give it a go? Just make sure you take all necessary precautions to stay safe.
Random, useless items
If you list a single paperclip, a piece of paper, or an empty crisp packet – some people actually buy these things, and for weird amounts of money. The same goes for toilet paper tubes, empty makeup containers, and egg boxes. Don’t ask me why as I have no idea. Maybe it’s the novelty?
Your own paintings
And you don’t even have to be a professional artist! A trend on TikTok showed that you can paint anything – to any ability – and list it for any price (£100 is a good place to start). Quite a lot of them get up to the thousands – and some of these paintings are pretty bad! Why not give it a go? Even if they don’t sell, it’s still fun.
So there you have it: weird eBay auctions that could make you money.
